Since its creation in 2006, the Cilongu Foundation has worked tirelessly to provide school supplies, clothes, and technology support.

CILONGU EDUCATION

Education provides children with opportunities to escape poverty, gain a voice in their community and experience a better quality of life. But worldwide, more than 120 million children are unable to attend school.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES/UNIFORMS

The funds contributed in this area will specifically fund the purchase of student supplies and school equipment for teachers and administrators in order to enable a functional school.

STUDENT TUITION

Student Tuition is the cost for attending school in any of the three African countries; Cilongo, Sierra Leone and South Africa. The cost of attending school is $20 per student per month. The tuition is also part of the school’s operating budget that pays teachers’ salaries.

U.S. TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT

Students are encouraged to use the computer and become technologically competent. These students are Minneapolis Public School students who receive homework help at the public library.

The Cilongu Foundation consistently receives high ratings for integrity and financial accountability. 100% of donations are used to support educational initiatives in Africa and the U.S.A. Please help us eliminate a barrier by making a tax deductible donation.

What We've Achieved

The CF team is committed for helping students and families in need in Minneapolis and selected African countries by providing school supplies and items that support students’ efforts to achieve their goals. Thanks to consistent volunteers work and family’s generosity, the CF team has been able to assist students or churches with computers, books, bed sheets, clothes and shoes. The team still counts on people’s generosity to alleviate students’ pain and families concern about their kids schooling.
