A Letter from Albert Nyembwe,
Cilongu’s Foundation President & Founder

we are so glad you are here…

The Cilongu Foundation (CF) team thanks you for visiting our site and learn about our activities in Africa and Minneapolis. Indeed, aware of the difficulties experienced by families in supporting the efforts of their school children, anxious to help students succeed in their school progress.

What does this mean? By pooling the means at our disposal thanks to the generosity of donors. Cash donations, the collection of computers, clothes or books for underprivileged students or unpaid or underpaid teachers, or any other form of help alleviate the concerns of the beneficiaries.

Locally, support is directed to newcomers who seek help in integrating with the new culture. In schools or churches that request it, CF members share elements of African culture through lectures or distribution of CDs on learning English or French from Ciluba, one of the four national languages of Congo.

So far, CF members have been able to sporadically assist a few teachers and students from Liberia, Sierra Leone, Zambia, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Congo-Kinshasa, including Mbuji Mayi and the United States. Mutoshi Technical Institute in Kolwezi.

This relief effort is not without difficulties. For example, paying the cost of transporting a bike, computers or books to Africa. It is for this reason that we rely on the contribution of sensitive people to the suffering of others to support us, especially financially.

We can assure you of our seriousness as well as our concern to channel your contribution to the underprivileged students, sorted according to the means available and eager to use the gift received to succeed a stage of the school life.

The CF team is looking for blessings. She rejects any action that may call a curse. She invites you to act, that is, to give so that the recipients pray for you to be blessed.
